Two months after making its debut in Mobile World Congress
2012, LG is finally bringing its new Optimus L-Series to the Asia region and if
you’ve been looking forward to it, here’s the good news, Malaysia is in the
list as well. Starting this week, the company will be going around Asia to
countries namely Indonesia, Taiwan, Vietnam, Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong and
the Philippines to launch the three new devices – Optimus L7, L5 and L3.
In conjunction with the launch, LG is also inviting fans of
Korea’s famous boy idol group – Super Junior to join them together on a virtual
concert which will kick-off this week in Indonesia. The LG Optimus Super
Concert will be held in a virtual space so you can skip the queue, jam and
crowd, and enjoy the concert like a VIP guest. Just visit LG Mobile Facebook pages in the
participating countries over the next 6 weeks and 2,100 lucky winners will win
special “Mr. Simple” music video CD co-produced by LG and Super Junior. The CD
also contains behind-the-sene footage on the making of the video.
“Asia is one of the most important regions for LG’s Smartphone business. Through the launch of the Optimus L-Series and our sponsorship of this virtual concert, we hope to deliver a broader mobile experience to a wider audience of consumers.” – HK Kwon, Managing Director, LG Electronics Sdn. Bhd.
