Honda Malaysia Issues Product Update Notice For Civic, City and Jazz

To all Honda Civic, City and Jazz owners, you might want to pay attention to this notice. Apparently, Honda Malaysia has kicked off a product update campaign for all three said models due to a number of components issues. This exercise is said to involve more than 40,000 cars nationwide.

Among those listed under the program are year 2006 - 2008’s Honda Civic which are affected by possible oil leakage from their power steering feed hose due to deterioration from hot and humid weather. Other models that are also listed under the update program are 2006 – 2007’s Honda City and 2005 - 2007’s Honda Jazz which will receive a new power window master switch as the current switch is prone to failure due to a minor short-circuit that could happen under certain conditions.

Owners of all the Honda models above are advised to contact the nearest authorized Honda dealers or Honda Malaysia's hotline at 1-800-88-2020 for further information. All the replacement parts and labor charges will be borne by Honda Malaysia throughout the campaign.
