After some delay due to changes in technical specifications, yet another star of Mobile World Congress earlier this year is coming to our shores soon. The Samsung Galaxy S II - which has recently hit 1 million units sales mark in Korea - arrival has been confirmed by the king of dibs, Maxis.
Of course, the actual release time and price point have not yet been officially revealed. In fact, even the folks at Maxis10 Reviewers Programme who usually would be among the first official source to reveal a new device have not mentioned anything about the new smartphone so far.
Meanwhile, Samsung Singapore has confirmed that the smartphone will be available there sometime in June with a retail price of RM 2440 (SGD 998). We believe that is also another indication on when the new Samsung Galaxy S II is going to arrive here and most importantly, how much it is going to cost. We predict it is not going to be that far off.
