Motorola Milestone 3 To Make It's Debut In China This Summer

It's been pretty quiet on the Milestone/Droid front for a while now, Motorola obviously concentrating on their newer handsets like the Atrix and Defy as well as their tablet the Xoom. I genuinely liked the first Milestone aside from the cramped keyboard which they fixed in the second iteration. It looks like Motorola haven't completely forgotten about the Milestone with a Milestone 3 being made official during China Telecom's CDMA summit.

The Milestone 3 will (for now) be available only to China and features a new five-row QWERTY slider, 4inch touchscreen with qHD resolution as well as a dual-core Tegra 2 processor which allows for 1080p video recording from its 8MP rear camera and 32GB of built-in storage. The Milestone should be shipping with Android 2.3 and all in all, looks pretty damn sick.

There is no word on any availability out of China, where it will launch in Summer, but we doubt that Motorola will let it slide as a Milestone Only release. Look forward to seeing a Droid announcement soon.
