Sony Ericsson Unveils Live With Walkman Android Phone

Further bolstering their line of portable music player focused handsets, Sony Ericsson announced the arrival of the Sony Ericsson Live With Walkman, an Android smartphone that gives users a unique social media experience. As with previous walkman phones, there is a dedicated walkman button which takes you directly into the music player where you can share and discover content through intuitive Facebook Integration.

The Live With Walkman phone (a mouthful that's for sure) features a 3.2inch screen, 1GHz processor, 5MP camera and Sony's xLOUD technology which enhances audio output. The phone also comes with the latest Android 2.3 as standard.

Peter Ang, Sony Ericsson Hub General Manager, Singapore - Malaysia, said: “Consumers want smartphones to deliver a rich and social entertainment experience.  The Sony Ericsson Live with Walkman™ provides the best in communications entertainment, in a powerful package with great style. With deep Facebook™ integration, users now have the ability to share and connect with their friends seamlessly.”

The Sony Ericsson Live With Walkman will be available in Malaysia from Q4 2011, with a local price to be confirmed.
